The Reign of Christ.
Four Sundays in the Book of Revelation
The reign of Christ is the most contested claim of the Christian faith — and the most liberating. In this four-part series from the Book of Revelation, Dr. Harvey traces Christ's reign from his presence among his churches today to his rule in the new creation. The four Sundays follow the formation practices that shape our common life: we discover the risen King, we offer our worship to the Lamb, we grow in confidence as he conquers, and we are sent out to bless a city awaiting his renewing rule.
The King Among the Lampstands.
Revelation 1:9–20
Before Christ reigns over anything else, he reigns in the midst of his churches — walking among them, holding their pastors in his hand, addressing them with eyes like a flame of fire. The series opens where Revelation opens: with a vision of the risen Christ that recalibrates what we think we know about him.

The Lamb Who Is Worthy.
Revelation 5:1–14
In the throne room of heaven, only one figure can open the scroll of history: a Lamb who looks as though he had been slain. The strange logic of Christ's reign — that he rules by being crucified — comes into focus, and worship becomes the only fitting response.

The King Who Conquers.
Revelation 19:11–16
The rider on the white horse is named Faithful and True. For a church living in the middle of a city, this is no small claim: the King who reigns now is also the King who will finally bring evil to an end. We grow not by ignoring the world's darkness but by seeing it answered.

The Throne in the New Creation.
Revelation 22:1–5
The series closes where Revelation closes: a river of the water of life, a tree whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and the throne of God and of the Lamb at the center of a renewed city. The reign that begins among the lampstands ends in the new creation — and the church is sent to bless the city in light of what is coming.
